10% Project Deposit
Once the project, specification and overall price have been agreed, we normally require a 10% initial deposit. The deposit is deducted from the total project price and allows us to begin setting up your project, including services such as:
Website hosting setup
Domain registration or configuration
Server setup
Initial website development
Theme, software and project preparation
The remaining balance can then be divided into manageable payments based either on agreed project milestones or an agreed payment schedule.
Example: Large E-Commerce Website – £2,499.99
For a website project costing £2,499.99, the payment structure could be arranged as follows:
Total Project Cost: £2,499.99
10% Initial Deposit: £250.00
Remaining Balance: £2,249.99
The remaining balance could then be divided into payments of approximately £150 as different stages of the project are completed.
For example:
14 payments of £150.00 = £2,100.00
Final payment = £149.99
Initial deposit = £250.00
Total Paid: £2,499.99
Payments can be linked to progress across areas such as:
Website theme, layout and overall design
Website management and administration systems
Plugins, integrations and required website services
Website page content and data
Product information and e-commerce setup
Website functionality and testing
Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)
Final checks, revisions and launch preparation. Depending on the size of the project, some stages may involve more than one instalment. The exact payment schedule will always be agreed before work progresses.
We understand that running a business can be demanding. Between administration, customer service, purchasing, accounting and day-to-day operations, it can sometimes be difficult to make a large investment all at once.Our payment arrangements are therefore designed to give businesses greater flexibility. Whether a project is completed and paid for over one month, several months or a longer agreed period, we are happy to discuss a schedule that works for both parties.
The important thing is that agreed payments and project milestones are maintained so that we can continue allocating development time and resources to your project.
While we aim to remain flexible, agreed payment terms still form part of the project agreement. Late payments, missed agreed payments or changes outside the original project specification may result in additional charges where permitted under the agreed terms. We also believe fairness should work both ways.
If Natura Design Services is responsible for a significant delay against an agreed project timeframe, we may offer an appropriate reduction, credit or adjustment depending on the circumstances. Our aim is simple: to make professional website development accessible to growing businesses while maintaining a fair and sustainable pricing system that can be designed around everyone.
